Through the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, a real-world robotic arm can be controlled as well as monitored for its operation and health status via live camera feed and sensors.

ENGINEERING LAB ASSISTANT a.k.a. ELA

A wheel humanoid-like robot developed which has evolved for few generations and is able to perform object tracking, speech recognition and basic movements.

The center is currently on the development of a Curiosity-like robotic rover which is designed to be able to overcome terrains and is looking forward to integrating more technological components for wider range of applications.

PAST PROJECTS

BLUETOOTH CONTROLLED ROBOTIC HAND

An InMoov-inspired robotic hand was developed as a prep work for the center to looking into the development of humanoid robot in the future. The developed robotic hand is the slave unit and is controlled by a sensor-equipped glove master unit.

3D PRINTED MINI QUADCOPTER

Realizing the growing attention given on drone technologies, the center had a small project of building a mini quad-copter as an initial step into the development of drone technologies and explore its possible integrations with robotics.

A low cost finger exoskeleton which is controlled via stroke patient brainwave to rebuild nerve-muscle linkage.
