ENGINEERING LAB ASSISTANT 2.0 a.k.a. ELA 2.0

An upgraded version of a humanoid-like robot has been developed. It has evolved from the previous generation, ELA, and is able to perform object tracking, speech recognition, and more complex movements.

BLUETOOTH CONTROLLED ROBOTIC HAND

An InMoov-inspired robotic hand was developed as a prep work for the center to looking into the development of humanoid robot in the future. The developed robotic hand is the slave unit and is controlled by a sensor-equipped glove master unit.

3D PRINTED MINI QUADCOPTER

Realizing the growing attention given on drone technologies, the center had a small project of building a mini quad-copter as an initial step into the development of drone technologies and explore its possible integrations with robotics.

A low cost finger exoskeleton which is controlled via stroke patient brainwave to rebuild nerve-muscle linkage.

BOB THE TELE-PRESENCE ROBOT

The robot could be controlled wireless using web-portal and the control system for the robot was developed using a Raspberry Pi controller.

Through the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, a real-world robotic arm can be controlled as well as monitored for its operation and health status via live camera feed and sensors.
